Poma, I hope I'm spelling this right, was crowned Cooper's Homecoming Queen Friday night! Woo Hoo! I don't know her personally, but from what I hear from Cooper's General Population, she's quite a winner! Well liked by everyone and the best part? She was totally SURPRISED! I just wanted to share this series of photos of her with her family.

I scammed this off the Texas Coaches Association of Basketball. The picked Cooper Girl's BB as the NO. 1 TEAM in the state pre-season! WOO HOO! I like to think it's because my kid is on the team.

Yeah, you heard me. Kalyn made VARSITY!

We are still in a daze in this household, kind of scared to breathe a word. That maybe it's not real? She's worked so hard for this and loves the game so much. We all do! Nothing like GIRL's BB!

I knew she deserved it! I'm just so thrilled the Coach knew it, too.

I'm blogging because I'm missing Summer's game tonight in Lamesa! Darn it! Kalyn had practice after school and I needed to stay in Lubbock, so here's some volleyball pictures from their game last week @ Frenship.

Needless to say, we lost.

LUBBOCK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER: Summer Zoe still has it!

CMS had their first pep rally of the year September 24th and my Summer Zoe is in her 2nd year of cheering. She's still GOT IT! I was hoping she would still bring those cool faces to her game and ROCK IT OUT like she did her first year of cheering. And most of all, I wanted it to be REAL. Like she really enjoyed it! It was great! They theme was Western and Heather Howell did a FAB job on the skit! So much fun to see the school get involved, completely down to these little tykes above. I think they agreed it was too loud, but hey! You gotta make some noise in life once in a while, right!

Way to go Summer Zoe!

Jordan, Lindsay and Taylor were the "cubs" for the skit part of the rally.

The students were enjoying and getting into the groove! Love all the energy in their faces!

Keely Ehlers and the rest of the 7th grade cheerleaders had a GREAT pep rally DEBUT! So proud of them! It's scary the first time to get out there and "do your thang" in front of the ENTIRE student body! Great job girls!

These last two were taken after the rally. Hanna Gentry was Sponge Bob and despite sweating her face off under that mask, she was FABULOUS! Way to go Hannah!
