erin

location: Broadway Street in Lubbock, TX

remember this face...you'll see it again someday on a rack of CD's for sale at some BIG entertainment store. Or maybe on a giant life size cut out? That's sounds good.

This is Erin and she's a young lady with a lot going on for her right now. Miss Hale County, school, music, oh...and Jake. We spent some time together yesterday, making pictures and blowing dandelions.

dallas

I'm in Dallas, TX this morning, heading home for Lubbock. We came on a quick little visit. Broght the lap top and I'm proofing the Fagarson Family. Was thinking about how you can be in a million places in your mind, a million miles away. And in Texas, all places feel a million miles away.

This weekend, Keri and Josh are getting married at St. Elizabeth's in Lubbock. She's probably got a million miles of "details" going on in her mind. I wish them peace and joy in these final days before their BIG celebration. Be sure and check this blog late Saturday night. I'll try and have a "sneak peek" up for everyone to enjoy.

Cale entertaining the crowd

outlandau

Great Rock and Roll Band! Or as they refer to themselves on their website, "West Texas Funk/Rock Band". Go here (http://www.outlandau.com/#) for more information. And if you are ever throwing a party, you should call. These guests sure enjoyed the night.

good friends

location: the pit in tracy's backyard

we never get together enough these days. Some of these folks we only see once or twice a year. But when we do, it instantly feels right and we pick up always where we left off. That's the sign of good friends....

and good times.

tracy kitten turns 40!

location: tracy's back yard
time: late evening until the band could play no more, and we were all out of beer

and you know? 40 is pretty darn fun. His wife, Lori threw him a "semi-surprise" party. He knew people were coming, he even cooked his famous "kitten hot wings", but the band? The hard rock band? nah...never knew that part, at least not until he hopped out of the shower.

Thanks for a wonderful memory!

the bishara family

location: garden and arts center in Lubbock, TX

I spent some time with the Bishara Family last night at the garden and arts center. Wonderful family that truely enjoys just spending time with each other. Phillip has beautiful dark hair with amazing curls, which I'm sure as he gets older, will not paticulary like. But such wonderful, disposition and attitude about things. Oh, and he personally knows a wonderful song about tow trucks.

jill + corey

Photographed Jill and Corey today. She is my husband's baby cousin. She's engaged and getting married in September. She's been living in Austin for years now, but I always think of her as "his cousin that goes to Tech". All his cousin's went to Tech, but somehow Jill's the one that stuck with me.

When I first met her, she was just a baby in glasses and curly hair. Now look at her! She grew up very nicely, don't cha think?
Corey is super tall and super cute. I don't know much about him, except that his eyes light up when you mention music. And that's he's a pure gentleman in every since of the word. I instantly liked him when I met him, and I don't say that about anyone.

It rained, sprinkled, hailed and the wind blew. Typical West Texas Day. To view their photos, simply click on the link below.
