Do you not just want to squeeze him and love him and take him home with you? Oh, my gosh! I just spent the better part of the day, driving to meet this adorable little guy who currently lives in Amarillo. I photographed his Mom and Dad's wedding a few years ago, and now that they've expanded their family, I just had to photograph it as well.
Meet Cooper. He's currently 9 months old and unavailable girls. I'm afraid late nights are spent with Dad on the couch and playing some ball. But gosh, he still makes you sigh, huh>
Enjoy the sneak peek!

the loafman family
my godson's family
I've posted this little fella before. He's my godson. And he's just about the sweetest charmer I've had yet to attend mass with. :) After church this morning we headed out to capture some fun family photos.
I'm on my way to Amarillo and will be back late tonight, but wanted to get these up before I headed out.
Way to go Buxkemper Family! LOVE this! And we have to do this more often. :)

lilly
Had an AWESOME session last night! Meet Lilly. Me, her mom and her (totally ROCKIN' it by the way) spent some time touring the East Side of Lubbock and we are happy to report, everything is A-OK. Lilly did AWESOME and could totally help Tyra's show out.
Here's the sneak peek!

dallas
We spent the Easter Weekend in Dallas after our Ski Trip to Red River. Yep, only home one day in between and we hit the road again. Kalyn's soccer team, Lonestar had a soccer tournament in Arlington so we drove down and stayed with Jason and Emily. So much fun getting the cousins together!
I took lots of photos and have everything posted in LONESTAR GALLERY. But I wanted to share a few "sideline" pictures I managed to squeeze out of my camera between the action shots.
Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

red river again

I realize that many of you are probably sick to death of my personal pictures and are really wanting to see amazing wedding photographs, or a sexy engagement session or two. But alas, all you have to view today are my personal pics from my days in the bar at Red River. LOL
Davida, Devin's mom and I hung out there for quite a while watching all the skiiers fall and slide down the hill. Thankfully, none were our family. :) We tried being all serious for our "snow bar bunny" photos and it totally cracks me up to look at this one.
You will also find some great images from the poker games played every night before we turned in. So much fun being a Bednarz. :)

red river day 2

We are ZONKED! High altitude? laying around a cabin? Who knows? But there's some good sleeping going on. :) The shot above is Devin's dad, whom we affectionately call "Chief". Everyone does. We are now playing a game, because the Bednarz family is SO competitive, called "who snores the quickest". LOL
Our cabin is 2 story and the kids are all upstairs with their own little mini kitchen and stuff. They pulled a mattress off one of the beds and it's wall-to-wall slumber party up there. They are having a blast! And each and every one of them is skiing soooo good! Jack of course has the snow plow down. He can do the side to side and turn, but prefers the bullet to the bottom. LOL I'm going to try and get skiing photos today, but for now, my tubing pictures will have to do.
Having a great time! We return tomorrow and then Kalyn's soccer team has a tournament in the Arlington area Easter Weekend, so it's wash the underwear and pack again. Life is good.

guess where I'm at?
Red River, NM
We met the cousins in Red River New Mexico for a quick ski/snowboarding trip. I promise lots of pictures in the next few days thanks to AT&T's great coverage here and a new USB data port for the mac book.
It was a 6 hour drive so we watched a good part of season 7 of Friends for the upteenth time. I LOVE this show! Hey, Allyson. I know you do too, girl!

Once at the cabin, I had just a few minutes of sunshine before the sunset disappeared behind the mountains. It 's pretty nice here. It's their last week of skiing and Beach Week. You can skii in your grass skirt and tropical shirt. I'll try and get a few shots for next blog post.

It was so cool to see Jack and Brooke. This is the first break ever that we've had the same dates. The cousins have new braces they are sporting. So, it was definitely picture time.

And drinking time! I'm here to relax for just a day or two and then it's back to the grind stone.

Until tomorrow!

Way to go Summer Zoe! We are so very proud of you!

you've missed them
I never thought I could enjoy a CRAZY rushed, day as much as I do when I have that CRAZY rushed day with this bunch of kids. I wish I had more pictures to show you of these two with my girls and I will make it a point to really get some of the 4 of them together soon and share them with you. They are really enjoying this one time per week that we get together.
For you long time blog readers, this is Dalton and Kate, Elizabeth's kids. I switched with Julie this week and got them on Monday instead. I remember when Devin (my husband) and I were discussing where we would live and how we wanted to do things for our kids. Well, one BIG thing for me was that my children know their family. I grew up, due to a divorce, not knowing my cousins very well. Or aunts and uncles for that matter. The USA was just too big to spend quality time with any of them. We still got to see them at Holidays or funerals, but it wasn't the same as really knowing them. It was important to me that my children know their family. And I LOVE that Dalton, Kate, Kalyn and Summer are getting a piece of that goodness in life. I LOVE that the human heart is BIG enough to grow and stretch to include all their cousins and family and that there are still some happy times left in this world together.
Many happy times.
Enjoy this little glimpse of a "happy time".

they did!
WARNING! I'm blogging a ton of photos from last night's wedding because I can! It felt so good to be back photographing a wedding! The shot above is Toni Spray from Toni Daniel Photography We had a great time together and enjoying the night! Crap, the day really, because we started coverage around 9 am and seriously did not leave until 10 PM. WOW! And the funny thing is? You don't realize how tired you are until you get in your car and drive home. The adrenaline for the day drives you. :)
Here are the pictures, and of course, their SNEAK PEEK on their gallery.
Thanks so much Britni and Ryan!
