deliveries

The recent rains have kept my delivery guys from driving down my road. Instead they leave my packages at the video store. I haven't been to my video store, since before Christmas Eve, but I stopped there on the way to my wedding Friday, and look what I found!

Macy and Mark's Asuka Book (finally)
and Mr. John Lee's Parent Album

I thought this would be a good time to share just exactly what a Parent Album looks like. I love them! I think it's because they are simple in design and very classic, so I don't get tired of how they look or feel.

You can't go wrong with black leather, baby!

This album is 10x10 in size and all you have to do is send me 24 of your favorites from the wedding, or a private session. They will be printed, bound and delivered! It's that simple! You can choose your favorites straight from your online gallery. Just click add to album and when complete, it sends me the list!

I love that!

Mr. Lee, your book will be shipped on Tuesday morning! I just know you are going to LOVE it. I do.

Now, Macy's E-session Album is an Asuka Book. A 7x7 20 page Asuka book is included with all private sessions. Many of you have yet to choose your images, and you shouldn't wait! These books are sooooo cute!

They come with a cute cover to protect the jacket.

I did Macy's in the orange from her wedding colors. Something fun to spice up the book! Although with their pictures, it didn't really need it. LOL

They feature a jacket that you can write on to personalize the book if you would like. Great way to celebrate Mom's birthday! Choose your pictures and then have everyone sign the jacket!

This shot shows how glossey the pages are. I love the EX! (a kind of asuka book) You can choose the matte finish too if you perfer. Your choice.

The colors just POP!

And the double page spreads lay very nice.

So, Macy and Mark? I'm mailing this one Tuesday morning, too! I just know you will love it!

If you are interested in ordering an Asuka book or a Parent's Album from your session or wedding, email me and we can start the process.

lindsay + andrew

ahhhh...

a dream wedding for me. Lindsay and Andrew were so laid back at this thing, completely laid back. Well, except for the freezing cold, oil drill thing. That wasn't completely laid back for anyone. But they knew they wanted to capture their day but didn't want to waste tons of time doing it. Photography was important to them, but spending time with family was too.

We managed to do both. And do it well.

I'm fading fast, time wise. Ready for bed. But wanted to get these posted tonight for you and your family to enjoy!

Lindsay at the salon getting all "gussied up".

Okay, you must understand. Lindsay was cold. And she had her mother dress her. I swear the girl looked good on Friday and she looked amazing when I left her this afternoon. But this morning? Not so much. HA! It was totally cracking me up and making me think of rodeo clowns. Those are her mom's hot pink socks down below!

Of course, when she put on that dress, that was it. No more laughter.

Getting laced up in that corset! She looked fab!

This is Julie who flew in that day for her wedding from Dallas. She was quite worried about the weather and thought her flight might be cancelled. But she was there! And Lindsay and Brittany were so glad. (Brittany was Lindsay's bridesmaid and high school friend.)

love this shot in the bride's room of Lindsay (who never wears makeup, by the way) putting on her lipstick. LOVE IT!

techno geeks?

85 shot wide open, 800 iso (I think...) and spot metering. I love spot metering!

Dad, 5 minutes before the walk down. He came to see her really quick.

Such a great moment! One reason I feel so privileged to be a wedding photographer. I have the BEST job. I really do.

I was thrilled that this family allowed me this opportunity to photograph this wedding according to feel and not method. Many times, right before a ceremony, when I'm shooting alone without Jodel or without Stephanie, I have a choice to make. I can stay back, with the bride and get moments like this. Or I can go out and shoot the processional.

Don't get me wrong. Shooting Grandma being seated is important. I understand that. But Marc, Lindsay's Dad is always gonna remember this day and this moment every time he looks at this photograph. And it will hit that place in his heart, that sometimes hurts, yet makes him remember the whys in life.

why we Live.
why we love.
and why we Laugh.

And just how darned blessed we are to have the "whys".

I love that I stayed behind.

They were so cute together. And gosh! So many words and touches and glances. I was in the vestibule photographing the bridesmaids when I heard them laughing and giggling. Such a great day!

Ceremony was quite lovely. And so much personal stuff was said by the two ministers. They had so many great stories about these two to really bring in the guests and make them feel welcome. We witnessed these two saying very simple, yet heartfelt vows and just a great service.

Lindsay surprised EVERYONE with a Star Wars Theme Recessional! Including Andrew who had no idea. He's a pretty introverted laid back kinda guy, but this one got him beaming, too!

Congratulations you two! I'll call you soon!

To see more of their photos, click HERE. There's only a sneak peek up right now. The remainder will up soon!

christmas with brooke and jack

and the twins!

Jason and Emily are here and my kids are sooooo excited they can't stand it!

I didn't get the chance to post this before I left for the wedding this weekend, but I'm home now downloading cards and wanted to get these up before Tre went crazy! (Tre is Teresa Alford, mom to the famous, adorable, non-aggressive Caucasian male and his lovely counterpart, Presley!)

TRANSLATION...you've seen these adorable faces before. Presley and Jax, The Alford Twins (on my gallery page of website.) They referred to Jax in the NICU as Whimpy White Boy, because when preemies arrive, the white boys are the last in the line up. Meaning they get better and thrive at a slower rate than the girls or boys of other nationalities. His Daddy, Cody really didn't like that term, I mean who would? (snickering) so he came up with,

non-aggressive Caucasian male

LOL

They stopped by after the Slaton BB Game and before our Family Christmas for sandwiches and some fun! The kids sure enjoyed each other!

Jax working out with some might cute baby toys!

Devin is always good to have around for the entertaining stuff. Keep babies from getting fussy. Or maybe it's the other way around? Only way he can be around them without getting fussy himself! LOL

hmm...not sure what he thought of Devin's "walrus imitation". LOL

awww...he likes it.

Miss Presley enjoying some goofy time with the big girls.

The entire Alford Family.

Jason and Jax enjoying the football game. They start them young around here.

Brooke and Kalyn hanging on the couch.

Jack got a new digital camera from The G's. (The Grandparents)

Summer's new horse from Chief and Grandma! She loves them! She's wanted a horse of her own forever. I can totally relate, but gosh...no way. So, this will have to do.

lindsay + andrew

I'm in Midland, Texas this weekend photographing Lindsay and Andrew's wedding. And still laughing at how aweomse some families are. There was some serious karaoke going on upstairs at Kesstler's tonight and Linsday's dad, Marc, was the #1 man leading it! The man did a mean rendition of Gretchen Wilson. It's so cool when folks just don't really care what other folks think. That's when real fun starts, you know?

Oh, and is this one time I wish I was a videographer! I wish you could hear Lindsay laugh! It's the best!

They are getting married at First Christain Church on Louisanna here in Lubbock. I have photographed there before when Casey and Nicole said "I do" in 2005. I absolutely adore the stained glass in this church! Not overdone for it's size, and just lovely enough. I'm hoping the sun is shining tomorrow. It's raining now. But maybe, just maybe?

Kestler's has such a great West Texas feel to it. Lots to look at and the food was wonderful tonight! Not sure just who catered the affair, but the salsa was awesome!

butterflies were everywhere!

This gentlemen, went to school with Lindsay and presented her and Andrew with such a great gift to mark the occasion. I'll try and get a photo of it tomorrow night if they have it on display at the wedding. I'm hoping so. I didn't get the chance to really look at it like i wanted.

Hey, Andrew! I left before your karaoke solo! How'd it go? ha

Congratulations you two! It was a pleasure meeting you and your families and I can't wait to see you get married tomorrow!

ever done this?

Okay, this is weird I know. But I think many of you have probably done this before. Come on, admit it. You are sitting around the house bored, with Sharpie marker at hand, and you are inspired to create....

upside down mouth, puppet man!

If I could figure out how to put the video on, you would love watching "kenny" and the "not so much, I'm bald" skit. I'm so ready for SNL!

the day after

I woke up with my right eye crusted over and feeling all achy and basically like poop. So, I ate a bowl of pickled garlic for breakfast and now my sinus are open enough to blog and enjoy my day. (I'm alone...at the computer and breathing on no one.)

We had a wonderful Christmas! I got to spend the majority of my day in pj's and hanging out at home, basically doing nothing. I did edit a bit on my computer, but only because I wanted to and NOT because I had to.

A very Merry Christmas.

We attended Mass @ St. Joseph and I love this part of our Holiday Season. Summer sang a solo during the caroling and did an awesome job! I love listening to her sing and NOT just because she is my kid. She is good. I hope she keeps her voice honed and always loves it!

The church looks empty at this point, but like all Good Catholics the arrive by the first reading. LOL

The rest of these photos are from Christmas morning at home. Santa brought many good things but my personal favorite was the Friends, DVD Scent It. Oh, and Gilmore Girls Season 6. Poor Devin, he just doesn't understand our passion sometimes. But that's OK. As long as there are 2 TVs in the house we are living in harmony.

Me Christmas Morning enjoying my cup of coffee. I do nothing without the coffee.

Summer and me. People say we look alike. Maybe we do, but my smile is real above and hers is totally fake. It's the "Christie Brinkley" in her. HA!

Kalyn and Summer exchange with each other every year. It's such a great thing to watch how excited they get! No one knows you like your sister.

Christmas gift from my Dad. Gotta love this!!! This is also the only shot I got of Devin. (his hand, anyway.) He hates having his picture taken.

My yummy pj's from Devin and the girls!

Last shot I took of the evening. We had Christmas Dinner at the in laws and it was SO good. Prime rib, green bean casserole, Jimmy Johnson Potatoes, fresh green salad, and homemade pies. Very yummy. It was about this time that I started feeling very congested and tired and achy. In-laws have very good couch for that!

This shot of the girls was too cute. my 50 1.4 and 800 iso. They were playing computer games in Grandma's office. Still in their PJ's! LOL

merry christmas everyone

I will most definitely blog later with all the days festivities, but for now, this shot of the tree will have to do. And no, I did NOT drink too much egg nog, this is purposely shot out of focus. It's all warm and pretty and makes me feel good.

Merry Christmas Everyone! And God Bless!

de-stressing

Are we done? Are all my responsibilities over? You know the one's women. Laundry, cleaning, shopping, cooking, gift buying, etc. Is it OVER? I'm ready to just enjoy it. Wait. I did.

Last night.

I met Gayla, Julie, and Elizabeth for a de-stressing evening of drinks, entertainment and most of all, my personal favorite, laughing. We had a wonderful time! No photos folks. Sorry! I left the camera in the car and just didn't feel like going back to get it. Besides, I'm sure I would pay heavy liability charges among friends if I posted any dance photos or pigging out photos from IHOP. I'm already on thin ice for a "passed out" Santa, from and earlier blog moment.

We started the evening out at Melt. A lively little mature bar downtown in the Buddy Holly District of Lubbock. I go to the Buddy Holly District all the time for haircuts and photo sessions, but have never gone for the night life.

The Christmas Martinis were wonderful! Very fun and festive and yummy.

Then, my wonderful "cheech" mobile friend, Stephanie, text messaged us about the bull riding out at the Rodeo. So of course we must go and check that out too. I must say, seeing the LIVE bull riding at a bar, just made me think a bit about lawyers, emergency techs, etc. But hey, whatever it takes for a business to survive in Lubbock, Texas right?

The point is, I enjoyed myself and now I'm ready to finish my last minute gift buying and hey, may even squeeze in a pedicure. I want to leave you blog readers with a view of my tree and some favorite things that hang there. So read on!

Oh, and my phone says that the storage is running low, so I'm thinking I've missed voice mails again. IF YOU CALLED YESTERDAY or the DAY BEFORE, I may have missed your message. Please try again! (In a few hours after I figure out how to dump the memory onto the very expensive 2 gig card the salesman said I needed for things like this. UGH! This phone!)

This star on top of this tree? I made it from tree twigs that laid in our yard the first winter we moved into our home. I was so proud that we had TREES! West Texas isn't known for trees and when a girl grows up in Eastern OK, well, the green was missing from her life. I thought it was soooo cool (at the time) that we had twigs and shrubs and limbs, etc. all over our winter yard and how I would bring the outdoors in.

I don't think that so much anymore when I help Devin prepare the yard for mowing. Gee... BUT they do make good tree stars.

This cute little number is from my Nana and she gave it to us our first married Christmas. It reminds me of the chipmunks. You know, Simon, Alvin and Theodore? "Christmas, Christmas, Time is Near".

Ahh...LOVE this snowman! When my girls attended St. Joseph, one of my favorite things is that they decorated the school tree as a WHOLE. Each class hand made ornaments and included them on the tree and when they dismissed, they brought them home. Kalyn made this cute one in Mrs. Cooks class one year. It's one of my favorites!

MD Anderson ornament from the first year Devin was home after his cancer.

Enough waxing poetic for now. Share your favorite ornaments on your blog. Oh, and notice the fruit loop garland all over our tree? Can't believe it made it a year in the cellar. Wow. That makes you feel good about eating that stuff for breakfast, huh? LOL

To keep the techno-freaks happy, all images of the tree and ornaments were taken at 800 iso, with my favorite lens the 85 @ 1.8. Wide open baby! Only way to live!

TIME

I was driving home from taking Summer to school and after the kids are out of the car, Kenny and the Animal Farm are OFF and Fox News takes over. They were talking about the closure of DIA, (Denver International Airport) which was built with the ability to "never close". Guess Mother Nature had another idea. She's so competitive. HA!

Made me think about all those folks living in an airport trying to get home or to get somewhere for the Holidays. Sleeping on floors, baggage carasols, etc. Eating McD's every meal and just plain miserable. I mean, I've been stuck in airports before for hourse, but not days! And I love it at first. You know, read all the magazines front to back and actually have the time to do so. Or the book you've been meaning to get into. A good bag of flower seeds, diet coke, place to sit, and I'm fine. Or internet? I wonder if DIA is wireless? And if they are FREE like Vegas, or if you pay? Either way, these folks have time. TIME.

TIME.

That wonderful thing I'm constantly craving! More time. And these folks have it. Either by themselves, or with their kids, or with their lover.

Just not much privacy! LOL

I'm giving a "shout out" to Jodel in Amarillo this morning, photographing a wedding and I know, doing well. Good Luck! And I know you will capture some beautiful memories for this couple! Oh, I'm in soooo much trouble for this photograph below! I'm sure no more "Bottle Caps" for me!

Hey, Jodel? If you don't want to fly home today? Julie and I (and Elizabeth) are meeting at Melt tonight for drinks. You up to spending the Christmas weekend with me? HA

all tied up

WHEW! I'm all tied up for the Holidays! Rushing like mad to get my personal stuff done, as well as deliever last minute orders to everyone! (Huge screw up at my lab.)

Wanted to let you all know that I will be taking off over the Holidays. My vacation starts on December 20, 2006 and except for a wedding on the 30th, (Lindsay and Andrew) I will not be OPEN. Whatever that means? gee?

When the kiddos go back to school on January 8th, 2007, I will resume regular office hours. (Another "gee".)

I'm sure if you email me, I will respond. I mean, come on! I can't leave my computer. Heavily addicted to online reading of blogs and stuff. So...

Merry Christmas everyone!

saturday night

This is what getting old looks like. You have that blank, dear shot in the headlights kind of paniked look. It seems like he's screaming for help on the inside to stay "STOP!" No more TURNING WORLD!

hee hee

Just teasing, David.

This is my father-in-law and we celebrated his Birthday Saturday night. Devin slow cooked some ribs and I even managed to cook for the first time in days, folks. DAYS. (too much work to get out before Christmas.)

Nice shot of Devin and David. (I even remembered by 550! YIPEE!)

christmas party

Julie.

She's been my friend for several years now. You know the type? Come on girls. The one you can just pick up where you left off, and you always feel good around? The one that you can catch up with in a second or two and knows you and your history and doesn't judge. The one that would be there for you, always. And the one that will always tell you the truth when you ask. Well, that's Julie to me.

Anyway, her and Heath (her hubby) invited us to their Christmas Party this year and all we were required to bring was our BEST SANTA HAT. How fun! Deserts and drinks flowed!

I've been so swamped with work and orders and video store, and was worried, because I had to work all weekend at the store due to Jacqui's circumstances and employees needing off to celebrate family Christmas's. I really thought we weren't going to get to go.

But we did.

And I was so glad. (Special thanks to Capri Chapa for making that happen!)

The shot above is of Julie's house as we were walking up. Great festive feeling hit and I left "computer editing" and work behind and decided to have some fun!

Guess, fun greeted me right away! Check out this dude's hat! And you have to understand, he's about 6'6 and ducked down so I could get him in my camera's frame.

Happy Birthday Page! I was not prepared with the macro lens to capture the beauty of her birthday "bling bling". You can see just a glimpse of them here, (in the photo above) but way to go, Tracy! Lovely earrings.

So all of you won't feel inadequate with your personal photographs, what I'm sharing here with you, will make you feel on my level. Come on! I'm a pro, right? Well, if you are a blog reader, you remember that I recently upgraded to a full sensor frame with the Canon EOS 5d system. No built in flash like my 20d has, so when I'm out and about for personal use, gee....I forget to bring the 550. UGH! So, I resort to unexposed photographs that later need to be fixed and converted in PS. UGH! So, yes...even I take horrible photographs. But they are still worthy of my personal memories. And they still make me happy. And that's the main things. They should make you HAPPY!

Not a "creature was stirring" by the time we left, except for TACO BELL. YUM!

Merry Christmas, Julie! And thanks for inviting us for a fun, relaxing evening with friends!

santa land

Summer had her Santaland debut Sunday evening and our entire family went, along with some cousins and friends. It was such a great relaxing evening. Our first in quite sometime. Life has gotten so extremely crazy for our little family. I was telling a customer at our video store today how 2004, (the year of my wreck) was preparation for this year! 2006 has been a rollercoaster of a year. So many ups and downs. Santaland was a nice way to just breathe for a bit. Well, for us anyway. Summer was nervous! She's been working on her piece with Cami Caldwell for quite some time, but I think it had been a year since she had sang in public, so of course the stomach was churning. It was a good run through for her Christmas Eve solo. Way to go Summer!

For you camera techno/freaks, I took all of these with my 5d and only one lens. My baby. The 85 1.8. All available light and no flash. YUM!

oh, dear

It's my "new catchphrase". Thanks to Kyle and Amanda, (and Kyle's entire family!) I'm addicted to those words. They work in almost any situation and will take the place of "sweet" or "snap" for positive words, and when in a jam and worried, "oh, gosh". I love it!

We had an amazing wedding to photograph Saturday night! (I refer to me and my dear 5d as "we" even though Stephanie was there, too. More on that later.) First Church looked amazing, of course, and Shirley from Celebrations did the flowers. She really did an amazing job!

Celebration 1702 Buddy Holly Ave # B Lubbock, TX 806-744-9454

I hope this information is correct. I just googled it really quick.
But I'm curious. How does someone NOT have a website in this day and age? Or at least a blog! Shirley, if you are reading this, please start a blog. Very simple and easy and people can see your work. Or if you do have a website and I just don't know it, please email me because I would love to brag about you and share you with my clients. (I have the best clients, you know....) gosh, enough gabbing, I'll just share the photographs and you can enjoy yourself.

flowers from the bride's breakfast. Kori, the groom's sister did this for Amanda and her girls. Very yummy croissants.

This is Lauren, Amanda's sister and she was perfect for the job of flower girl. She loved it! The flowers, the dress. She was very patient and just had a ball! That was until Kori leaned over and said goodbye at the reception and she thought that meant she was leaving, not Kori. Oh, gosh! She burst into tears! It was so sweet and sad at the same moment!

The amazing stained glass of First United Methodist Church. Gosh! I never get tired of it!

Amanda's veil was hand crafted by her maid of honor's mother. She did a wonderful job, and I should know...I see veils all the time.

Thomas, from Sally and Jared's wedding, did the hair. And he did great as usual! And he's always so calm. Perfect for brides.

"diving into" the dress!

Kyle and Amanda saw each other before the ceremony. He waited in the sanctuary for her and was a bit nervous, but i think more annoyed with me than anything. I wouldn't leave the camera out of his face for a second, and he probably wanted to slap me, but eventually he just ignored me.

Kori will probably curse the ground I limp upon for posting this, but I'm doing it anyway because many of you can totally relate to this moment. Ring bearer is usually not as interested in the wedding as the flower girl and this is typically what happens before he is supposed to walk down the aisle. NOT THAT HARRISON IS TYPICAL! The dude is far from typical. But come on! It's hard to be good all day and then have folks telling you to be quiet. Heck, it's hard for me. Main reason I grab a camera is to keep my mouth shut. LOL

Amanda having a "moment" before walking down. Dad quickly calmed her. She's ready to be married but she kept telling me all day that the one thing that she was worried about was that walk down the aisle. If I know anything about Amanda, it's that she doesn't prefer the attention at all. LOL

How beautiful is this! Lovely ceremony.

Okay, now for the "more" on Stephanie. I met her at a volleyball tournament and she's a freak. Camera wise, personality wise, EVERYTHING. And when she asked if she could join me during a wedding, I of course jumped at the chance! She's perfect to have along and keeps things fun. We thought Kyle and Amanda would love this little shot from the balcony. At First Church, photographers aren't allowed to photograph inside the sanctuary after the bride is handed off to the groom. Seriously, you have to stay at the back. Which i hate! I much prefer the faces to the rear of folks, but hey, rules are rules. And I'm not ready to break them here at this church. Or any church for that matter. At least not yet.

The view of the sky moments after the "I do's".

They held the reception at the Lubbock Country Club and it was sooo lovely and festive! A really great Celebration!

I love this shot of Kyle and his mom, Pamela. Kyle, I think she loves you more than Zuess. This shot proves it. LOL

This little dude ROCKED. Or at least I thought he did, that was until I realized he was selling his skills on the dancefloor. Yep. If you wanted to dance with this "swifty" you had to pay him. So desperate, wall flowers, don't worry. You too can dance the night away....for a price. LOL

Congratulations you two! I had a wonderful time celebrating with you!!!!

amanda and kyle

kyle's adorable nephew, Harrison and Zeuss

This will be a quick blog! I'm in a hurry to meet Amanda for her "bridal breakfast", but I just wanted everyone to know that First Church looks amazing at Christmas! And the poinsettas aren't even in the stands yet!

I'm photographing Kyle and Amanda's wedding this weekend and will be out of pocket for most of the day. Also, on a side note, that really should have been blogged about yesterday, Jacquline, one of my employees from my video store? She had a horrible wreck yesterday and is the hospital severely banged and brusied. Several broken areas, but hopefully not a broken spirit. She's a very strong girl, stubborn at times, but with the help of family and friends, (and our prayers!) should be OK. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers! I'm terribly upset that I haven't had the chance to go visit her and tell her that we care and offer our help. So, I'm doing it here Jacq! And after I finish this fabulous wedding, will find the time to come give you a hug. (a gentle hug at that.)

cool new album!

Just got in a new sample album and I knew I had to use Sally and Jared's wedding to show this puppy off! Cool LIME GREEN that only Sally can apprecaite! (I hope you are reading this, girl. And they guys from work. Hi! * waving like mad as I type *)

I was looking for a smaller album that was quicker in delivery and design and could be cost effective for many couples that can't afford a BIG album, nor want one. I think this little puppy might be it. She's soooo cute! 11 x 9 in size and features magazine style pages. And the colors offered are sooo coool! My favorites are of course the black, lime green and bright orange.

If you are interested in purchasing one from your wedding or private session, drop me an email at info@kristinbednarz.com. They differ in pricing depending on the pages, but start at $200 for a 50 page design.

the "vanagon"

A Kombi Bus

My very good friend Stephanie celebrated her wedding anniversary over the weekend. Her hubby surprised her with her dream car.

Fahrvergnügen
driving pleasure found only in a Volkswagon.

yep...he got er a bread loaf. And not just any kind of bread loaf either. A 1971 plush with special interior bread loaf. She was shocked, and extremely happy and brought it to the BB tournament for all to enjoy. It is sooooo cute! And the headlights even work!!! And I must say, she looks pretty good in that Bulli. And she's got her booked solid in rentals for Prom!!!

slaton tournament

summer cheering on her sister!

Kalyn played with her 7th Grade Cooper Team in Slaton this weekend for the Slaton Tournament. She did very well, but couldn't hit her shots, until the last game, for first place, when she swished a 3 pointer! Of course I went wild! And barked like dog, and I think her "shooting jinx" is over. (for the time being.)

Thought I would share a few from the weekend. You can see the rest of the photographs by clicking HERE. The images are SOC (straight out of camera) only re sized for web. I have clients to edit and no time for the personal stuff. So they will be a bit dark, however I'm getting better at this basketball thing. After several games, I've come to realize that the 85 and 50 are the best, and you just camp out on one end of the court waiting for it to happen. Some you get, and some are just poop, and then some, are AWESOME except the ref steps right in front as the shutter snaps. UGH!

**on a side note, I left my cell phone at the in laws and won't pick it up until after church today. Yipers! So, if you tried to reach me? I'll return your calls and emails on Monday.

the famous "knucklehead" stricklin

beka brown heading strait to the goal

I'd like to report that no foul was called on this shot. Seriously. But the refs can't see everything the camera does. Right? I guess.

Hanna played on 1.3 quarters and still managed to pull off 12 points. The girl was hot! She stayed off it for most of the tournament to come back on Saturday and play.

Slaton FW Shaley Pate catching some air and some major points against Hutch. Kalyn grew up playing on Shaley Little Dribbler's Team and being coach by her mom, Jennifer. This was such a treat getting to watch Shaley play and seeing how good she has become. Thinking we will hear and see alot of Shaley in our Sporting Futuer!

Ciara (hutch) and Shaley (slaton) fighting for the ball.

Britany going up against Lockney and Kalyn getting her back. Foul was called on this shot and if I remember correctly, bucket was made. Way to go, Brit! (otherwise fondly known as "peanut" by her mother. Hm....should I start calling Kalyn "seed"?)

Kalyn's layup against Lockney. Originally, when she asked if I got this, I thought I missed it thanks to a ref's butt, however, I got it, I just couldn't see her! Bucket made, I might add.
